Niagara Falls Weddings - Oak Hall

Do I have a treat for you! For the next couple of weeks, I will be covering some fabulous wedding venues as well as some amazing and some very unique reception and ceremony sites in Niagara Falls, Ontario and the surrounding areas.

Sue Zareski of Niagara Parks, who I met at last year's WPIC Fam (Fam=familiarization tour) was gracious enough to take myself and two of my colleagues around yesterday for a custom tour highlighting some amazing proposal and wedding options. One of these was Oak Hall.

Oak Hall is an absolutely gorgeous Mansion situated on a cliff overlooking the Niagara River and the Natural Habitat of Dufferin Islands. Oak Hall has several options available to host your special event.

The Great Hall, The Parlour and The Living Room, are perfect for ceremonies, cocktails, tray passed or sit down dinner receptions accommodating anywhere from 10-50 guests. Featuring Wood Paneling from Hampton Court in England, fireplaces and a magnificent hand carved teak-wood table used to sign the Boxer Rebellion Treaty in 1901 to antique chairs, amazing chandeliers and original artwork, each room maintains an incredible old-world charm perfect for an elegant and sophisticated wedding.

If you have the outdoors in mind, the mansion's terrace is a wonderful spot situated above the Niagara River and sits atop a cliff overlooking the marvelous Dufferin Islands. It is quiet, intimate and an absolutely breathtaking & picturesque spot for your ceremony and reception. Another option is a tented wedding on the Golf Course with the Mansion as your backdrop; definitely the best option if you are looking to host a larger or more customized wedding.

All in all, Oak Hall is a gorgeous venue for the couple who is looking for a wedding of grandeur, history, luxury and style.
